Zen Sex (?!?)
To say that zen has nothing to do with sex would be to say that sex is unnatural.Replace the word "sex" with any other noun or verb.
- To say that zen has nothing to do with apples would be to say that apples are unnatural.
- To say that zen has nothing to do with sleeping would be to say that sleeping is unnatural.
- To say that zen has nothing to do with faulty logic would be to say that faulty logic is unnatural.

Indeed, great reminder. In my own Sangha I've raised the issue of sex, especially as it connects with the five precepts. It is one of those things that everybody recites, and sometimes pays lip service to, but for which deep conversation does not always seem to ensue. Some members of my community have, thankfully (and courageously) talked about sex as energy and what it does to them, or how it is an important part of their practice. I wish we could see more of those conversations. Thanks for bringing it up. I'll link to your post from a post in my blog (Woodmoor)
Thanks Nacho. Everyone should check out Nacho's additional thoughts on the subject
